Swallows have completed the signing of Victor Bakah after the status sale of Uthongathi.
The Dube Birds have been surrounded with a new wave of positivity of late since the shock appointment of Steve Komphela after his three-season stint at Mamelodi Sundowns.
Daweron van Rhyn, Keanan Phillips, Bongani Sam and Tshegofatsa Mabasa are among the signings set to arrive at the club this month.
But the Dube Birds confirmed on Friday evening the signing of the 26-year-old Ghanaian midfielder who has spent the last six seasons in the second tier with the KZN outfit, Richards Bay, Royal AM and Royal Eagles.
Komphela’s first match in charge will be against his former club Masandawana in the MTN8 quarter-final.
