Former Kaizer chiefs midfielder set to join Sekhukhune United

Several sources are reporting that Siphelele Ntshangase, a former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, is close to making his return to the pitch after spending four months without a club.



The euphoria surrounding Ntshangase’s time at Kaizer Chiefs was ultimately let down by the fact that he was released from the club in the summer.

Sekhukhune FC, a newly promoted DStv Premiership side, are reportedly preparing to acquire the recently released Amakhosi midfielder.

Before their pre-season training, the former Black Leopards player is at newly-promoted team Sekhukhune United. According to SoccerLaduma, Siphelele Ntshangase is available.”



Negotiations are said to be underway for the offensive midfielder to be signed by Babina Noko, who are said to be creating a formidable side ahead of their historic debut season in South Africa’s top flight.

Siphelele Ntshangase was at Kaizer Chiefs for a total of only 32 games. When he failed to get his name on the scoreboard, he generated just two goals for the Amakhosi.

Sekhukhune will be closely monitoring the current dispute between Royal AM and the PSL, which involves the GladAfrica Championship side.



One of the final matches scheduled to be played this season was cancelled by Royal AM because they claim to be the real champions of the GladAfrica league instead of Sekhukhune United. It looks like the case will be resolved before the next season begins.

Despite his stint at Kaizer Chiefs being underwhelming, his quality is unquestionable and the recently promoted Sekhukhune FC will profit greatly from his precise passing and smooth touches, if he signs with the club.
