Pirates fan favourite pens new deal

Orlando Pirates have announce that winger Vincent Pule has signed a new contract extension with the club,

The 31-year-old has penned a deal that will see him remain at the club until 2025 (2026 should the club exercise its option).

Pule, who has made 135 appearances for the Buccaneers, netting 31 goals and 11 assists.

The left foot player is currently in Rustenburg with the rest of the squad as they prepare for the start of the 2023/24 campaign.

Pule signs new deal with Orlando Pirates

Pule’s previous season was plagued by injury, limiting him to only 19 appearances and scored only two goals.

Pirates have also revealed players that were retained for the coming season and also those who have been released.

Here is some of the players who got thier contracts extented:

• Richard Ofori (2024 + 1)

• Thabang Monare (2024)

• Siyabonga Mpontshane (2024)

• Ben Motswari (2024)

Collins Makgaka’s contract has been terminated by Bucs.

Those on loan include:

• Azola Tshobeni: returns to JDR on a season-long loan.

• Boitumelo Radiopane: returns to Cape Town Spurs on a season-long loan.

• Bongani Sam and Tshegofatso Mabasa: currently in discussions with Swallows FC to finalise move to the Dube Birds.

Meanwhile, Azola Matrose and Thabiso Sesane are currently in camp with the squad in Rustenburg where they are being assessed by the coach and his technical.

Pirates have already announced the signing of Sephelo Baloni (Cape Town All Stars), Katlego Otladisa (Marumo Gallants), Melusi Buthelezi (TS Galaxy) and Patrick Maswanganyi (SuperSport United).
