Chiefs Midfielder To Leave

According to our close accurate sources, one of the newly signed Kaizer Chiefs FC midfielder who is lacking a game time recently, is expected to make a shocking exit when the current season ends.

According to our sources and analysis, we have learnt that negotiations on not renewing the contract of former Amazulu FC midfielder, Siyethemba Sithebe have been ended. Sithebe who played many games under Arthur Zwane, who is yet to found the back, might make a move back to Usuthu as things are not looking good at Chiefs for him statistically. The signing of Edson Castillo and Sibongiseni Methethwa seem to have made things more difficult for Sithebe.

In other news, Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson has praised the club’s leadership over how they dealt with the suspension of former captain Itumeleng Khune.

Earlier in the week, Chiefs had released a statement that Khune had been suspended and also had his captaincy revoked after a thorough disciplinary process over allegations he arrived drunk at training.

However, the noise around the club didn’t seem to affect the rest of the players, as Chiefs beat Polokwane City in Polokwane 1-0 on Saturday to climb into fifth place.

Johnson praised the club’s leadership over how they dealt with Khune, but also insisted people need to realise that no human being is perfect.

“I think that is something that has to be big, big credited to the management of this team and that doesn’t mean Cavin Johnson, it means Jessica, it means Kaizer, it means Khemiso, it means Gerald, it means Bobby, it means Vina, all of us put together, how the club inside the village is able to control that type of news because we all know Itu is a big part of this team,” he replied to iDiski Times when asked about Khune.

“In the end, we were able to calm the players to make sure that they realise what is happening.

“All of us are not perfect, that’s the one thing we have to know. Whatever happens to some of our players, or whatever to some of the players outside, whatever happens after they play, we all not perfect, things like that happen.

“We are all not perfect, we’re all just grateful that we work for an organisation for Kaizer Chiefs and they’re able to say ‘we’ll help you’.

“And that is what I’m grateful for that the club’s statement says we’re going to help you. As I said before, this club is run by men that should be walking with presidents.” – he added.
