Anna and Lucy DeCinque, 35, are identical twins and YouTube celebrities from Australia. They dress identically (both prefer slinky clothes and large sunglasses), go to the restroom together, and even measure out their meals to ensure they eat the same quantity and so have the same weight. Oh, and they’re both dating Ben, a 37-year-old electrician.

Lucy told The Washington Post, “We think of each other as one person.” “It’s impossible for us to be apart.”

Ben has been dating the twins for ten years, and they refer to each other as “soulmates.” They stated they would marry him if they could, but it is against the law. Through a mutual friend, the trio met digitally on Facebook.

“We both kissed him the first night we met him,” Anna added. “Right from the start, everything was fantastic. We were able to hit it off right away. It’s a lot easier for us to have a boyfriend together. I don’t mind if he comes over to kiss Lucy since he’ll kiss me afterwards. He is fair to all of us. He understands that whatever he does to one of the twins, he also does to the other.”

The twins had attempted to date various people in the past, but it didn’t work out because “they wanted to split us,” Lucy claimed.

Twins who are identical Anna and Lucy want to be “the same person” in their lives.

The twins say the longest they’ve ever been apart was when they both had breast implant surgery. Anna had to wait for “an hour” alone herself because Lucy went first.

“When she goes to the bathroom, I accompany her; when she showers, I accompany her,” Anna explained. “You name it, and we’ll take care of it. We’re always together. I don’t think we’d be able to function without one another. We both suffer from separation anxiety. We’re inextricably linked.”

They claim that getting friends and family to support their unorthodox relationship hasn’t been a problem. “If you don’t accept it, you’re not going to be in our lives,” Lucy remarked. “Anyone who meets us understands that we want to live our lives as if we were one person. On the internet, we get trolls and haters. People are free to express their opinions, but we are not harming anyone. This lovely partnership makes me proud.”
