Richards Bay FC have unveiled a former Kaizer Chiefs defender as their new signing ahead of the 2023/24 DStv Premiership season.

The Natal Rich Boyz have confirmed they have snapped up the centre-back Thabani Austin Dube. He returns to the club for the second stint having left in 2021.

The Soweto giants recently released him after he struggled for game time since his arrival at Naturena. The 30-year-old had joined Amakhosi at the beginning of the 2021/22 season.

He struggled somewhat to live up to expectations after he had a good run at Richards Bay during his first stint in KZN. He only collected 18 appearances across all competitions.
