Orlando Pirates have completed the signing of highly-rated Bizana FC attacking midfielder Cebo Mchunu, iDiski Times can confirm.
Mchunu, 21, was on the books of Bizana FC, who are campaigning in the Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League.
The former Bizana FC talent has been identified as one of the best midfielders in the ABC Motsepe League with consistent displays over the last few seasons.
It has reached iDiski Times that Mchunu signed with the Buccaneers and is expected to the team up with the squad for pre-season.
The eMtuba-born can operate any role in midfield as well as on the wing but it is the offensive where he strives.
The attacking midfielder recently made headlines after being named Player of the Tournament at the Khaba Cup 2023, which saw him sign with Mike Makaab’s agency Prosport International.
The Sea Robbers have already completed the signings of Melusi Buthelezi from TS Galaxy, Siphelo Baloni from All Stars, Patrick Maswanganyi from Superport United and Katlego Otladisa from Marumo Gallants.
