Official: Pitso’s Technical Team At New Club Confirmed

MT Sports Marketing and Management have confirmed Pitso Mosimane’s technical team at UAE Pro League side Al Wahda FC.

Al Wahda announced Mosimane as new head coach on Saturday evening after he had parted ways with Saudi Arabian giants Al Ahli Saudi after leading them back to the Saudi Pro League.

Mosimane’s long-standing technical team, will once again join him on his new adventure, MT Sports confirmed on Monday.

“Coach Pitso Mosimane will be heading to the UAE Pro League with his Technical Team consisting of Maahier Davids, Kabelo Rangoaga, Musi Matlaba, Kyle Solomon, and Goal Keeper Coach, Hamad Alyami,” an MT Sport statement read.

“Known for their exceptional leadership, tactical prowess, and ability to inspire players, Coach Pitso and his Technical Team are excited for this new venture and bring success to Al Wahda F.C.

“As MT Sports, we are proud to have brokered yet another deal for Coach Pitso and his technical team. We are confident of their ability to make a significant impact in the UAE.”

MT Sports Managing Director, Moira Tlhagale added: “We believe that our coaches possess the qualities and expertise necessary to guide Al Wahda F.C to new heights. Their passion, dedication, and exceptional skills will undoubtedly drive the team to success.”

Al Wahda F.C was founded in 1984 and has won four UAE Pro League titles. The club won their last UAE Pro League title in the 2009/2010 season.

Matlaba and Rangoaga have been working with Mosimane since his time at Mamelodi Sundowns, while Solomons joined the technical team at Egyptian giants Al Ahly in 2021. Maahier Davids became a member of Mosimane’s technical team at Al Ahli Saudi last year.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper coach Alyami joins from Mosimane’s previous club Al Ahli. He also worked with the Saudi Arabian national team and clubs such as Al Qadsiah, Al Ettifaq, Al Shabab and Damac before.
