Official: Chiefs Announce Another Departure

Kaizer Chiefs have announced the departure of defender Austin Dube.

Dube, 30, joined Amakhosi from Richards Bay in 2021 but struggled to live up to expectations at Naturena.

After making 17 appearances in his first season, he only feature once in the 2022/23 campaign.

Today, the Glamour Boys have announced his exit, with the player soon expected to be unveiled by Richards Bay after already featuring in a friendly match on Wednesday, as reported by iDiski Times.

Dube is Chiefs’ fifth departure after Eric Mathoho, Phathutshedzo Nange, Cole Alexander and Khama Billiat.

The latter’s contract expired on 30 June and he has left the club, but he could technically still re-join if he agrees to a new deal.
