New Leopards Coach – I Know Pressure From Real Madrid

New Black Leopards head coach Alejandro Dorado says he will not be crippled by fear or pressure at his new club, as he is used to it from his time at Real Madrid.

Dorado was unveiled as Leopards head coach last week becoming the third Spanish coach in South Africa after Jose Riveiro and Pablo Franco Martin at Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu, respectively.

Riveiro has won the double in his debut season at Pirates, while the upcoming campaign will be Franco’s first in the PSL.

Dorado told iDiski Times Writer Lethabo Kganyago in the current edition of the newspaper that he doesn’t mind pressure, adding that he has worked under demanding conditions when he was with the Real Madrid Academy.

“I don’t have pressure because I’ve had pressure all my life,” the 38-year-old told iDiski Times.

“When I worked at Real Madrid, if you lose one game or two games, there are seven coaches that want your job.

“It’s not only the seven coaches that want your job, there are also seven ex-RealMadrid players that want your job and they have direct connections with President Florentino [Perez] and Florentino can call the Director of the Academy.

“So when you work in this environment pressure can take you out. I take it day by day and if in a year or two or three or four Black Leopards say you are out I won’t be afraid”
