Khune In Hot Waters?

Published

on

Longest Kaizer Chiefs FC goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune might be in hot waters after what he did during the previous weekend.

Khune is currently on suspension after arriving to Chiefs training while under the influence of alcohol. During the previous weekend on Saturday, there was a clash between Carling All Stars and Stellenbosch FC, in a Carling Black Label Cup. Carling All Stars was a team voted by fans, from different clubs like Kaizer Chiefs FC, Orlando Pirates FC and Amazulu FC.

Carling All Stars won 2-1 after top performance against Stellenbosch FC. When the game ended, all players from each teams gathered together and took pictures. Meaning, Pirates players alone took photos, Amazulu FC players also did that, including Kaizer Chiefs FC players.

However, rumours reaching our table suggest that since Itumeleng Khune is currently suspended by Kaizer Chiefs FC management, he was not supposed to be part of Chiefs players who gathered together and took a photo and making Chiefs signing. This is believe to have made Chiefs management not happy during his current suspension.

In other news, current Kaizer Chiefs FC interim coach Cavin Johnson did confirm that they will not sign any player this current transfer window

In as much as he said that, some of Kaizer Chiefs FC fans are pushing hard to see their management adding more players to strengthen the squad and increase depth. Fans want players like Sanele Barns, Oswin Appolis, Ellias Mokwana and others. However, here are the reasons why Chiefs management will decide not to sign them.

We have communicated with our analyser Senzo Sambo, and here is what he said, about those players and on why Chiefs might consider not signing them.

Here are some of the top wingers in the PSL this season and my problem with some of them.

Elias Mokwana

His input in the field of play is something else, he is always a threat to opponents defence, but his output at the end of the day is poor his numbers are not good for me.

Oswin Apollis

His input on the field of play is impeccable, he is always a major threat, and his goal goal scoring numbers are good, my problem is he is just 22 what if its his fluke season?

Sanele Barns

A very exciting player with great input and output on the field of play, my main concern is his sense of belonging is he a Right Back or a winger?

Antonio Van Wyk

Good player on his days he is a real danger, but for me i feel like he has a lot to improve on, decision making and other theatrics in his locker, otherwise we might have a Mahlatsi situation similar players, Van Wyk is also very inconsistent also his output is not that good.

So when i say none of the wingers outside the big three excite me i talk about this, and these players are supposed to be the best the League has produced so far.

His analysis end. Thoughts please?
