Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder has revealed which three players he’d want Amakhosi to sign this month.
The iDiskiTV analyst has been impressed by several players in the first half of the campaign so far and believes the Glamour Boys should strengthen their ranks in January.
Khanye insisted that he would be very excited, if Chiefs could sign Sipho Mbule, who has been linked with a move to Soweto.
“Mbule, if Chiefs can buy him, wow. And then you get a defensive midfielder like [Teboho] Mokoena. Even if they bring him [Mbule] in alone, he’s going to change,” he told iDiski Times.
“He’s a star player, if they sign him, I can be excited.”
Another player Khanye would love to see at Naturena is Teboho Mokoena, who seems set on a move to Mamelodi Sundowns.
“Teboho Mokona from SuperSport,” he added.
“If they could play him and Njabulo Ngcobo [who joined] from Swallows, that would be a wonderful combination.”
Upfront, Victor Letsoalo has been closely linked with Amakhosi, but Khanye prefers another striker for his former club.
“Yeah, [Asley] Du Preez from Stellenbosch. I would be very excited,” he concluded.
Chiefs are yet to complete any January business and it remains to be seen whether they can push a deal over the line before the window closes in six days.
