Motsepe Foundation Championship side University Of Pretoria have completed a season-long loan of forward Thabang Sibanyoni.

Sibanyoni, 27, came through Sundowns’ youth ranks but has spent most of his time on loan and hasn’t actually made appearance for Masandawana yet.

His first loan spell was to JDR Stars in 2019/20 season, before he spent one-and-a-half campaigns on loan at Sekhukhune United. In January 2022 he was loaned to AmaTuks for a first time, scoring five goals in 13 appearances.

Last season, he was loaned out to SuperSport United but didn’t have much impact as he only played 355 minutes in all competitions, scoring just one goal.

iDiski Times can confirm that the 27-year-old will go on loan at AmaTuks for a season-long loan as first reported by Farpost.

It will be his second spell at the club, as he helped the side to qualify for PSL Promotion Play-offs in 2021/22.

He is the second Sundowns player on loan at Tuks after they also completed a similar deal for defender Bhongolwethu Siyasi.
