Hugo Broos has announced his 23-man Bafana Bafana squad for the upcoming friendly games, dropping 13 names from his preliminary squad.
The Belgian tactician called some new faces in the squad, namely Lebo Mothiba after his fine start in Ligue 1 under Patrick Vieira, Kobamelo Kodisang and Grant Margeman.
In addition, Thabiso Monyane was also named in the final squad for the first time, while Bunrley striker Lyle Foster returned.
From the preliminary squad, 13 players dropped out, including all three Kaizer Chiefs men – Given Msimango, S’fiso Hlanti and Pule Mmodi.
In addition, US-based players Bongokuhle Hlongwane, Njabulo Blom and Cassius Mailula were also not called up.
