Doja Cat – the singing sensation daughter of South African actor Dumisani Dlamini – has courted controversy again after inking what has been described as a “demonic” tattoo on her body.

The US star has made headlines in recent months after she poked fun at rumours she joined a “satanic” secret society known as the Illuminati.

DOJA CAT CRITICISED OVER ‘DEMONIC’ TATTOO

Over the weekend, Doja Cat showed off her latest inking – an image of what appears to be a deformed mythological creature. The tattoo is Doja’s fourth, with others including a devil holding a pitchfork, an antelope skill, and a spider.

The 30-year-old shared pics of the tattoo, with the caption “purge yourself”, likely referencing the popular horror movie franchise.

DUMISANI DLAMINI RESPONDS TO ‘ILLUMINATI’ RUMOURS

Meanwhile, Doja Cat’s dad Dumisani Dlamini has responded to speculation the US singer has joined the secret society, Illuminati. This after sparking concern online following a series of “Satanic” social media posts.

Earlier this year, the singer rocked up to Paris Fashion Week wearing red body paint from head to toe. She also had thousands of body crystals glued to her skin.

Doja donned a matching beaded skirt, bustier, leather boots, and shawl, all courtesy of Schiaparelli’s haute couture line. Like the designer’s animal-head couture looks, Doja’s red hot look was inspired by Italian poet Dante and his literary piece Inferno.

But many have likened her all-red appearance to something sinister, namely the devil himself. Others compared her look to that of Sam Smith at the Grammys and Rihanna at the Super Bowl, who both also wore red from head to toe.

Sharing a clip of her in a recent Instagram post, Dumisani Dlamini was questioned over his opinion of Doja’s controversial appearance.

When asked by a follower what his thoughts were on allegations Doja is the Illuminati’s newest recruit, Dumisani responded in the comment section: “Her life, her choice. Let’s respect”.

He added: “Let’s not lose focus of ourselves and enjoy what we have”.
