Westlife Announces South African Tour: Here’s What You Need to Know

Westlife fans in South Africa have reason to celebrate as the iconic Irish boy band has announced they will bring their ‘The Wild Dreams’ tour to the country. Westlife first rose to fame in 1999 with the release of their debut single ‘Swear it Again,’ which topped the charts in Ireland and the United Kingdom for two weeks. The band has sold millions of albums worldwide and has a dedicated fan base in South Africa.

Westlife will be performing in Cape Town and Pretoria as part of their South African tour in November. Fans can see the band at the Grand Arena in Cape Town on November 1st, 2023 and at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria on November 3rd, 2023. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster starting on May 12th, 2023. Ticket delivery will be delayed and only available through the Ticketmaster app or browser 30 days before the event. An order confirmation will be sent after purchase.

The current members of Westlife are Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne, and Kian Egan. The band split in 2012 but reunited in 2018. Since their comeback, several of their previous singles have reached higher Gold certifications in the United Kingdom, while ‘Flying Without Wings’ and ‘World of Our Own’ were certified Platinum twenty years after their release.
