If the trailer is anything to go by, we will experience Mohale like never before.

Motaung has been working on telling his side of the story to Mzansi for a long time, and now all is about to be revealed.

Showmax has released the teaser trailer to this much-awaited On the Record interview.

Motaung and Mhlongo gave us a fairytale wedding in 2020 that streamed on Showmax. That wedding was so successful it went on to get nominated for a SAFTA, which is the highest honour in the film and television industry in Mzansi.

The wedding was a fairytale, but as we all know, the marriage was a different story.
A few months after that, leaked audio files of Mohale detailing devastating accounts of abuse he suffered while living with Somizi made headlines.

The marriage went to hell after that, and we have all been exposed to private and intimate details of their relationship from two since these audio files were exposed.

Mhlongo’s reality show Living the Dream with Somizi has given us his side of the story throughout the season. The show focused on how he was dealing with the legal issues he had been going through. Mohale allegedly wants half of everything, and Somizi is fighting tooth and nail to make that stop.

On the Record with Mohale will address the other side of this story because two sides are better than one.

Mohale sat down with Media personality Aldrin Sampear, and things got real.
Sampear immediately asks Mohale if he was ever happy being with Somizi. Mohale explains that he could ultimately be himself with Somizi and was really happy.

Motaung says things changed when he started to feel controlled and constantly reminded that he brought nothing to the table but his looks.

Sampear asks Mohale why he said yes to the marriage. Motaung details an ordeal where he crawled down the stairs, and Somizi said he needed to mess up his face.

Living the dream with Somizi aired the last episode on Showmax a few days ago, and many were very disappointed, saying the whole show seemed to focus on his failed Marriage to Motaung and nothing else.

Mhlongo suffered heavy losses after the audio files of Mohale talking about the alleged abuse were leaked. He was suspended from his gig as an Idols judge for one.

On the Record with Mohale will shed some light on what Mohale thinks of everything he goes through with social media since the whole thing plays out there anyways.

“With all the misinformation in the public domain, it’s my responsibility to correct any propaganda, as I represent not only myself but those who have experienced a story similar to mine,” Motaung said

Filming wrapped in June for this Showmax original and will start to stream soon, so brace yourselves.
