Sukazi Releases Furious Statement On Aubaas

TS Galaxy president Tim Sukazi has released a furious statement after midfielder Bathusi Aubaas was listed as Orlando Pirates player on the Bafana Bafana team list.
Aubaas, 28, had a great debut for Bafana, putting in a commanding shift in midfield against Africa’s highest-ranked team, as South Africa beat Morocco 2-1.
However, the Bafana team list, which was shared by the Confederation of African Football before the match, confusingly showed Aubaas as Pirates player.

Although there have been some rumours around the 28-year-old, no move has been confirmed by Galaxy or Pirates, and the situation left Sukazi furious.
“SAFA, Bafana Bafana and whoever else is responsible for this nonsense, you are reducing yourself to some serious embarrassment,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Since when did @TS Galaxy FC player Bathusi Aubaas become an Orlando Pirates player?? You owe both clubs and the nation some an apology!!”
It remains to be seen whether it was a genuine mistake or whether Aubaas might soon be unveiled as one of Pirates’ new signings ahead of the 2023/24 season.
His teammate Melusi Buthelezi is understood to have moved from Galaxy to Pirates, as reported by iDiski Times, but his transfer is also yet to be confirmed.
