On Monday, they had the opportunity to rub shoulders with a few English Premier League legends when Jermain Defoe and Wes Morgan spoke to the team. Defoe, a Tottenham Hotspur legend, played professionally for over two decades, also featuring for clubs like Sunderland, Portsmouth and Bournemouth, amongst others.
Morgan also had a two-decade career, spending ten years at Forest, before joining Leicester City, where he famously led the team that won the EPL.
The Next Gen Cup will run until the end of the month, and Stellies will finish off their tour with a friendly against AFC Wimbledon on the 1st of August, before heading back to South Africa.
