Simba fullback upbeat ahead of Pirates clash | African News

Simba fullback Mohamed Hussein has vowed the Tanzania champions will beat Orlando Pirates when the two clubs clash in a Caf Confederations Cup tie on Sunday.
Wekundu wa Msimbazi host the Soweto giants for the first-leg quarterfinal clash at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on Sunday.
Hussein believes Simba have done their homework to get a healthy lead ahead of the return leg in Johannesburg next weekend.
“Calm down, we are beating them at home. We know our rivals are a strong team, but I believe we are even stronger and we have prepared enough to get a positive outcome,” he told local media in the East African country.
He added that the players are aware how crucial it is for them to pick up a good result at home.
“Every player knows the importance of this game. We are playing at home, and a win is important because it is going to make our work easier and boost our chances of getting to the next stage.
“For those reasons, we are ready to fight and ensure we achieve just that.”
VAR will be in use on Sunday. Kick off is at 18h00. The second leg will be played on April 24 at FNB Stadium.
