Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro has insisted his side still have a lot to improve but also stated he is satisfied how his side have developed since he took over.
The Buccaneers got crushed 4-0 by Mamelodi Sundowns in Saturday’s Carling Black Label Cup final after Tapelo Xoki got sent off in the 20th minute.
Riveiro, though, was still upbeat with his side after they lifted the MTN8 trophy last weekend and insisted they can only get better going forward.
“To play better, whether it means to play better for us,” he said when asked what the Buccaneers need to improve.

“I mean we need to be better in every department, we need to be better in every scenario, we need to be better when the opponent is pressing high, we need to be better when the opponent is sitting on their side. We need to be better with the ball, we need to be better when in every scenario.
“We’re working four months together this group. I think we are a better team than four months ago. Definitely, I really think so.
“The future is going to be interesting for us as a group. I’m pretty sure we’re going to have a decent time now to rest, to do something else with our lives, to spend more time with families and get the energy to be back soon.
“Use the time before the competition starts again in December, against Sundowns once again. To be even better than that.
“So far, I’m really happy with the way that we are doing the things, with, like I said, there is space to improve, there is room to improve and you can be sure we will do it.”
