Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the south and central.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with morning fog and drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers. It will be hot in the Lowveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with morning drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine over the south-west, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the central and western interior.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Morning mist along the coast and adjacent interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but cool over the south-western interior.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly in the morning, otherwise south-westerly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Clear skies in the north-eastern interior in the morning, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm. Light drizzle and rain can be expected along the south coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half – Cloudy and cool to warm with isolated morning showers and thundershowers but scattered in the east.

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong westerly.

The Eastern half – Cloudy and cool to warm with scattered thundershowers.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable at first becoming fresh to strong south-westerly

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm, but hot in places in the east. It will become cloudy in the afternoon with scattered showers and thundershowers.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly, becoming southerly to south-westerly south of Durban from late morning, spreading northwards.
