Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the south.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Hugh.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Fine and hot in the Lowveld, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the extreme south.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Fine in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thundershowers, except the north-east.

Free State:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm with scattered afternoon thundershowers but isolated in the south-west.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the east and south with morning fog patches over the southern highground, otherwise fine and cool, but warm in the north. Isolated afternoon thundershowers are expected in the north-east.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Warm in the north-west, otherwise cloudy and cool with a chance of rain and isolated showers along the south coast in the morning, becoming partly cloudy in the west and north during the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh south-westerly along the south coast otherwise fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half – Cloudy in the south with a chance of light rain in places along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong westerly to south-westerly.

The Eastern half – Partly cloudy and cool with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the east and becoming cloudy south of the escarpment with a chance of light rain in places in the evening.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be strong south-westerly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Cool in the south, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thundershowers, but scattered in the extreme west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh northerly to north-easterly north of Durban in the morning, otherwise fresh to strong southerly to south-westerly.
