Prince Kaybee says the music industry doesn’t celebrate talents anymore.
The musician made this known after the Grammys announced nominees for the 66th edition.
South Africa was well represented on the list as Tyla bagged a nod for her hit song, Water, while Musa Keys scored a nod for his feature on Davido’s song, Unavailable.
Taking to Twitter, the DJ whose real name is affirmed the claim that the Grammys is popularity driven.
“The Music industry has never been about talent,” he wrote.

He explicated his claim with, “When I say the music industry has never been about talent I mean the premise of it is business. Talented or not, “can you make money?”.
