Pirates After In-Form Goalkeeper? – iDiski Times

TS Galaxy goalkeeper Melusi Buthelezi looks to be one of the finest prospects in South African football and the likes of Orlando Pirates have been alerted.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper who stands at 1.94m tall has been one of the standout players in the resurgence of the Rockets in 2022, keeping 13 clean sheets in his 18 appearances for the club since usurping Marlon Heugh, who has since left the club, and Vasilije Kolak as the number one stopper.
His form is likely set to attract interest from Hugo Broos in the upcoming Bafana Bafana squad and iDiski Times has it on good authority that Galaxy rejected an approach from Stellenbosch FC during the off-season.
While Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro denied they are in the market for a new keeper, Buthelezi is among the players they are said to be monitoring for a future transfer.
