Kelly Khumalo has officially announced the birth of her third child. According to a report by Zimoja, the singer gave birth to a baby girl via C-section in April. On Sunday, Kelly shared photos on her Instagram timeline of herself holding a car seat with her newborn baby inside as she was strapping the baby in.
“What’s good?” she captioned the post.
The mother of three — her firstborn son Christian from her relationship with Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye and her daughter Thingo from her relationship with the late soccer star Senzo Meyiwa, and her third allegedly with former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Mthokozisi Yende — concealed her newborn baby’s face and has not revealed her name either.
Kelly’s Instagram post has been flooded with congratulatory messages from fans, friends and industry colleagues.
“Congratulations Skwiza sam’, may your bundle of joy bring you endless days of pure bliss,” Basetsana Kumalo wrote.
“Congratulations my love,” Winnie Mashaba wrote.
Kelly Khumalo first revealed her pregnancy in December when she showed off her baby bump while in KwaZulu-Natal, after keeping it private for several months. The singer has shared some of her experiences as a mother on her reality show, Life With Kelly Khumalo. On the show, fans have been able to see her open up about her late boyfriend Meyiwa and her determination to keep Jub Jub out of her son’s life.
