Peprah Comments On Transfer Rumours

Orlando Pirates striker Kwame Peprah has commented on rumours linking him with a potential move abroad after just one season in the DStv Premiership.

Peprah has thrived in his debut season for Orlando Pirates, scoring seven goals and with that making him the first Ghanian to do so at Pirates in his maiden campaign in South Africa.

However this great start to life at Mayfair has conjured up rumours of a possible move to an unnamed Greek club, as reported in iDiski Times, edition 57 out in Shoprite stores in Gauteng.

The Buccaneers striker now addressed those rumours, while speaking to media in his home country.

“At the moment I’m a player for Orlando Pirates, I’m also concentrated on the field of play,” Peprah told JoySports.

“When it comes to offers and those stuff, I think my management will handle that. Even if there is a good offer, my management will sit down with the club and also consult my current club which is Orlando Pirates.

“Then if the two parties get along together with the offer, then they think there is going to be a move, why not? For the moment I’m a player for Orlando Pirates.”

The Ghanian forward was also nominated for DStv Premiership Young Player of the Season, but lost out to SuperSport United defender Luke Fleurs.
