Zambia have appointed former Chelsea and Ghana coach Avram Grant as new head coach.
The 67-year-old was officially unveiled on Thursday after putting pen to paper on a two-year deal.
Chipolopolo will be Grant’s second African team after his stint with the Black Stars between November 2014 and February 2017.
He finished runners-up with Ghana at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, losing on penalties to Ivory Coast and resigned from his post after ending fourth at the 2017 edition of the tournament.
In 2007/08, he was appointed as Jose Mourinho’s successor at Chelsea, leading the club into the UEFA Champions League final, where they lost to Manchester United on penalties.
