Stellenbosch FC have announced the signing of goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke from Baroka FC, as first reported by iDiski Times.
The Cape Winelands side had a strong second half of the 2022/23 campaign, which saw them reach the Nedbank Cup semi-final where they lost to Sekhukhune United, and also finish in sixth place on the log.
Stellies also confirmed the signing of former Ubuntu Football Club goalkeeper Dejean Ah Shane in March, and have now added Masuluke to their goalkeeping department.
On Wednesday, Stellenbosch finally announced the arrival of the 2017 Puskas award nominee Masuluke on a “longterm deal” believed to be three year.

“As a club, we always want to have competitiveness and depth in all of our positions, and adding Oscarine to our goalkeeping department provides that,” head coach Steve Barker said.
“I had a stint coaching him at the DStv Compact Cup last year and saw his qualities there, and that definitely played a part in the decision to bring him in.
“He’s a goalkeeper with massive experience, great quality, and good size. He’s good with his hands and feet, and he’s a good shot-stopper, so he’s been brought in to add that extra depth and quality.”
Stellies have the likes of Sage Stephens (32) and Lee Langeveldt (36) on their books, while Reid Bombay (26) was one of seven players who were released.
