Banyana Banyana striker and 2022 WAFCON winner Jermaine Seoposenwe has signed for FC Juarez Femenil in Mexico.

Seoposenwe, 28, played for Braga last season and has now moved to South America, as confirmed by her new club.

The Mexican side become Seoposenwe’s fourth team after Gintra Universitetas (Lithuania), Real Betis (Spain) and Braga (Portugal), while starting her career at Samford University in the United States.

She joined Braga in 2020 and lifted two trophies during her time in Portugal but left the club at the end of last season and is now taking on a new adventure in Mexico.

The move comes after her superb performances at the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, where she helped Banyana to lift a history WAFCON title and was also named in the Team of the Tournament.
