Mzansi is more than happy that Rabede has left the drama series. Many believe it was high time for him to bow out of the drama series. He has been blamed for the woes of the drama series. In recent years he has made all sorts of headlines for the wrong reasons. He was blamed for sinking Isibaya and getting it canned. No doubt, since the mass exodus of actors, the series has been battling to keep up its exciting storylines.

During his Uzalo reign, he was also blamed for poor writing skills that saw the drama series slump in numbers. On the other hand, several viewers have it that Rabede was more than good, but a mass exodus of lead actors compromised the plot of Gomora.

The 13-episode drama series is a complete hit and has managed to wow Mzansi at large. Rabede was wowed for his Don storyline and other lead actors who have flourished under her charge. Of interest is that he also happens to be the head writer of Umkhokha. The 39-year-old was born in KwaZulu Natal in 1983 on 19 December.

In recent years he has managed to make a name for himself. Despite backlash as a scriptwriter, he has managed to wow us with his on-screen flair. He has the plug and the bling too. After all, he has fast become one of Mzansi’s finest.
