Muvhango packed everyone and hit the road today to Limpopo. As we all know by now, Muvhango is currently taking us on their 25th-anniversary journey, and this is one of the ways they are using to appeal to their viewers.

This time they are appealing to their Limpopo audiences as the storyline for Muvhango mainly takes place there.

Azwindini and the Vha-Kwevho family live in Thathe, one of the villages in Venda, which is in Limpopo.

The Soapie has shared visuals of the trip and what took place before that, and it was a celebration.

The cast and crew are seen facing in jubilation as they make their way to the transportation waiting to take them on the road.

Muvhango has reminded us of the storylines that made it a household name. We have seen cameos from actors from the past who have left the Soapie.

A few weeks ago, when the Mukwevho family had a prayer day for Vho-Mukondeleli, we saw Ndalamo and Doobsie, played by Khabonina Qibeka and Lesley Musina. More actors are set to appear as we progress with the story.

One of the people who appear in today’s video 8s is the Executive Producer and the creator of Muvhango, Duma Ka Ndlovu.

They have partnered up with the Department of Arts and Culture in Limpopo as the MEC of the department has welcomed them.

Lead characters like Gabriel Temundzani and Maumela Mahuwa, who play Azwindin and Susan, were also spotted amongst the group, but guess who was also spotted breaking a leg? Vho-Mukondeleli in the flash. Elsie Rasalanavho was there, and she looked as healthy as a horse. She was dancing with the actor that plays Makhadzi on Muvhango.

Kondi had the nation in tears when she suddenly died in the story. Everyone felt a loss when she left the show, especially since she died at the hands of imposters that didn’t even deserve her life. In the story, Kondi sets up the death of Azwindini, who just came back from the land of the ancestors, and since his resurrection, Vhafuwi has been a transformed man.

He is ready to fulfil his duties as the King of Thathe.

Viewers have been expressing their happiness in the new storylines of the Soapie because they felt like Muvhango had lost its urge over the years. The cultural themes they have been exploring have revived old viewers and attracted new ones.
