Mokotjo Rates PSL After 14 Years Abroad

Sekhukhune United midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo says the standard of football in the Premier Soccer League ‘is not bad’.
The 32-year-old left the country 14 years ago when he went to join Eredivisie giants Feyenoord at the age of 18 from SuperSport United.
Since then he never looked back as he spent six years in the Netherlands before moving to the EFL Championship with Brentford.
After two seasons in England, he was lured to MLS side Cincinnati by his former FC Twente Technical Director – but he had only one season in the United States of America and injuries started to trouble him.
“I think it’s growing, the standard is growing in the league and there’s a lot of things that they have in Europe that they don’t have here obviously,” Mokotjo told the club’s media.
“And we kinda have to compensate for those things which don’t make it easy for the players or for the coaches.
“I think when it comes to the standard of the league it’s not bad and there’s still a lot of room for growth with every department of a football club.”
The South Africa international midfielder has made five appearances for Babina Noko since his mid-season arrival.
