The new E-Class is a smorgasbord of technological innovation from Mercedes-Benz, with the W214 now featuring hybrid engine tech across the range.
Mercedes-Benz says the new E-Class will go on sale in Europe and the United States in 2023, and the Citizen says the new model will be in dealers by the end of the year.

THE STYLING OF THE NEW E-CLASS HAS BEEN BORROWED FROM ITS EQ MODELS
A 3D-designed radiator grille and standard LED headlights are a signature of the new model. The new E-Class is bigger than its predecessor uses the same underpinnings as the smaller C-Class and larger S-Class.
That extra space has helped the luggage capacity swell to 540 litres. The slipperier body has allowed the new E-Class to boast a drag coefficient of 0.23

In terms of engines, half of all the models will be fourth-generation plug-in hybrids.
The model range already achieves this high proportion at market launch. Three of the six E-Class versions combine the advantages of a vehicle with combustion engine with those of an electric car, says Mercedes
In Europe, the E200, E220d, E220d 4Matic, E300 e, E300 e 4Matic and E400 e 4Matic will be available. Power outputs range from 145kW to 185kW.

Third-party apps like TikTok can be accessed in the new E-Class via the car’s massive screen.
Another new feature Mercedes-Benz say is a selfie and video camera (part of the optional MBUX Superscreen) on top of the dashboard. When the vehicle is stationary, the driver can participate in online video conferences via e.g. “Webex”, and take personal photos and videos.
