She has been trending of late after it was revealed that celebrated media personality and entrepreneur Bonang Matheba would be joining the cast of Netflix’s hit reality series Young, Famous and African.

The cast includes Mzansi’s “Queen of Bling” Khanyi Mbau, Nadia Nakai, Andile Ncube, Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz; Nigeria’s Annie Macaulay-Idibia and her hubby Innocent “2Baba” Idibia and Zari Hassan.
They all become one family, and they are on a quest to find love, rekindle old flames and reboot struggling relationships as they continue to shine bright.
Reports have it that Matheba has already started filming for the show’s second season alongside Khanyi Mbau and Nadia Nakai.
‘”She joined the show as its new face. It is not yet clear who she is replacing, but she will come in because fans have been hinting at wanting her to join the show,” one source said.
The source went on to reveal that Bonang has since started shooting. Reports have it that she began filming when she went on a USA trip.
“She has started filming already. In her first scenes, she will be seen on her trip to the US, when she was in the Hamptons in August and did not reveal what she was doing there. It will be revealed as part of her debut.”
Not so long ago, she made all sorts of headlines when she revealed that she was parting ways with her management. She had a fallout with her management which happened to be Celebrity Services Africa (CSA) Global.
