Welcome home: MaMkhize trains with the new Royal AM players as the new coach watches.
A few days ago, MaMkhize’s Royal AM chairperson Andile Mpisane announced the signing of four players. On top of the players, he also told the new head coach to carry the club into the future. All the business happened when the owner MaMkhize was away seeking sunshine in Los Angels. Once she arrived, she took time to mix and mingle with the new and old players on the field. Undoubtedly, the businesswoman brings so many vibes with her.
Despite putting on a point shoe, the owner led by example as she played with the players on the field. The talented squad returned for pre-season, looking sharp and ready for the new season. The star-studded team is looking forward to challenging the ABSA Premiership after finishing third last season. MaMkhize is investing more and more into the club, and the pressure is on Khabo Zondo’s shoulders to deliver.

The day started with all the players being introduced to the new coach by the owner and other management teams. The coach had the time to deliver his speech to the players and fans and vowed to give what the fans deserve. Soon after, the old players welcomed new players, Ketha Ndlovu, Samir Nurkovic, Andre Ernest De Jong and Ruzaigh Gamildien. The mood around the club is at its peak; everyone is looking ahead to a very successful season ahead.
MaMkhize is probably the one looking ahead the most. She is doing all she can to motivate the team, from salaries to the dressing room environment. To her, success on the field comes as a return on investment and with the joy that she is now a hard-core fan of Royal AM. Adding to the bonding, the shoe took off with the team as they did their first pre-season training.
Her dressing was off the occasion, but she managed to run and kick the ball a little before leaving the players to do the actual work. Once done having fun with the players, the real work commenced, and it was lit. The players looked to be so fit and ready to go. Undoubtedly, Royal AM will be a force to recognise in the race for the title.
