Makhadzi given warm welcome by Botswana Royals

Makhadzi has been spending a lot of time in Botswana lately as she gets ready for her one-woman show taking place this coming Saturday, 26 March 2022 in Tlokweng.

The singer received a warm welcome from The Botswana Royals And Leadership. They gave her their blessing ahead of her one-woman show.

Makhadzi attended the Kgotla event dressed in Setswana traditional attire – she received countless gifts from the local elders and royals.

“I express my gratitude to the leaders of this country for allowing me to have my show here, Botswana is the only country that has shown me so much love even more than my own country. I want to reach out to the younger ones,” Makhadzi was quoted by Overview news.

This Friday she’ll be dropping her much-anticipated EP titled Pain Ya Jealous.

The nominees for this year’s Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards were announced this week and Makhadzi was one of those shortlisted.

She’s been nominated in the Favourite African Star category alongside Focalistic, Major League DJz, Pitso Mosimane, and Tems.
