Maguire will not be booed at Man Utd, says Rangnick | Breaking News

Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick says the Red Devil’s supporters will not do what England fans did to the club’s captain Harry Maguire when they face Leicester City at Old Trafford this evening (18:00).

This comes after The Three Lions’ fans jeered as Maguire’s name was read out before England’s friendly match against Ivory Coast, whereas others booed the defender’s first touch as Gareth Southgate’s side thrashed The Elephants 3-0.

The 29-year-old footballer has also suffered a lot of social media criticism for his recent performances.

“I didn’t understand why England fans booed Maguire’s name when it was read out at Wembley before the friendly win over Ivory Coast,” said the German mentor.

“But it won’t happen in our stadium with the Red Army. He knows my position towards him. He’s been a very valuable player for the team.”
