The actor shared a video on his Instagram showing what he was up to last Sunday, and many fans have been left baffled.

Mpumi takes on the role of the feared and ruthless businessman Gagashe in Lingashoni. Gagashe has had powerful men like Mandla Cele and Papi trembling at the mere thought of crossing him. His workers and business partners fear being on his wrong side as his physical punishments can cause severe damage.

Around the woman he loves, Gagashe gives us a peek at the soft and friendly side that his real-life family and friends enjoy on a daily basis. He shows a different side from the gangster, who can easily kill and turns into a domesticated man who will do anything to make his loved ones happy. This may have prepared some viewers for when he reveals that he is a good and kind man of God in real life.

The title of his sermon was doubt, and he was teaching the congregation to believe when they ask God for something. He goes on to share that the only way a relationship with God works is if there is no doubt. In his comment section, many people were commenting that his message was powerful or that it was what they needed to hear.

Mpumi Mpama is philanthropic and helps the poor.

Less than a day later, the açtor shared how, through Mpumelelo Mpama Foundation, they were donating groceries to the poor. In the caption, he also says that he enjoys doing what God sent him to do on earth and helping people in the spirit of Ubuntu. Mpama leads a church with the help of his wife, and every Sunday, he is at the pulpit preaching and teaching.
