Ledwaba outlines two things to do against in- form Hungry Lions |

Magesi FC coach Jacky Ledwaba has outlined two important things his side need to do when they face high-flying Hungry Lion on Saturday in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Ledwaba says they must be tight at the back meaning conceding less goals and score goals.

Magesi didn’t start the season very well, they’ve been shaky at the back conceding goals that cost them valid points.

The league newcomers lay 12th on log standings. They have accumulated nine points from eight matches.

“We planned very well for it, we’ll go with a different game plan because we playing at home,” Ledwaba told the club’s media department.

“We did our homework we addressed many issues especially at the back. Our rare guards are now water tight.

“Now its about getting that goal, once we get that goal that we need the most we’ll start winning games. Its time to win games because league is very tight.

Ledwaba further stated the importance of winning matches early in the season to avoid being under pressure in the later stages.

“You lose two games you got at the bottom of the log, you win two games you’re in the top eight,” added Ledwaba.

“It’s very important for us that we in the top eight, we in the top half so that we don’t have pressure going forward.

“Once we there at the foot of the table, pressure will start mounting, that’s where we’ll be desperate. If we desperate we become vulnerable.

“The boys are ready to go, they know the objective that we went with to Black Leopards.”

Ledwaba’s side are winless in four matches. They’ve registered two stalemates and suffered two defeats.

On the other hand, Lions are the most in-form team in the league. They sit at the summit of the log with 18 points.
