Kaizer Chiefs vs SuperSport Line-Ups Announced

Kaizer Chiefs host SuperSport United in the DStv Premiership with fans in attendance for the first time since March 2020 – here’s how both sides line up this evening.
Chiefs, amidst the legal drama with the Premier Soccer League (PSL) will be aiming to turn their attention to getting back into contention for a second-place finish.
Royal AM are currently four points ahead of third-placed Amakhosi and has played two games more – as things stand. But a win over SuperSport, who are looking to secure a place in the top-eight could bridge the gap.
United are currently in a period of transition, having sacked Kaitano Tembo as head coach this week and his former assistant Andre Arendse named him as interim head coach for the remainder of the season.
Together with a youthful side packed with DStv Diski graduates, Matstsansa will be aiming to finish their season strong and justify the new direction the club’s hierarchy has notably taken in recent years.
Ahead of the game this evening, Baxter feels the fans return can play a pivotal role as they continue their quest for CAF inter-club qualification: “The supporters for us are undoubtedly an extra player. We have good supporters.
“What I’m hoping is that they very quickly get on board and realise they can be a part of helping us to add that extra five or 10 percent that turns a draw into a win or a defeat into a draw. I hope they can do that and I hope we will see a coming together again.
“We’ve missed them and I’m sure they’ve missed watching their team. Now, let’s show everybody it has been a handicap for us and that those supporters do have a positive effect on our team and it’s not just loose talk.
How they line up:
Chiefs XI: Petersen, Ngezana, Mphahlele, Frosler, Blom, Alexander, Nange, Ngcobo (Mshini), Parker, Nurkovic, Billiat.
