Hip hop has been part of my life since I can remember – Lalla Hirayama

South African-based television host, Lalla Hirayama thanks Hip Hop for saving her life. The star reminisced on how she’s been involved with the genre up to date. Lalla shared photos of herself djing and captioned it a note expressing how grateful she is to hip hop.

“Hip hop has been part of my life since I can remember. I could never repay back what its music, culture and knowledge have brought into my life,” she wrote.

“From co-founding Clinch Dance Crew in the early 2000s and organizing and naming, alongside @gabynajmaker , Masters of Rhythm, to Shiz Niz, to travelling around the world and now DJing. I am forever grateful. Hip Hop saved my life.

South African star, Brian Majola who is also known as Bruno has died. The Kwaito star is known as a Former Rhythm City actor and acted on e.tv’s Ekasi: Our Stories. He was said to have died on Monday evening, but the cause of death is unknown.
