Marumo Gallant’s head coach Dan Malesela was furious after his side’s goalless draw with AmaZulu FC on Wednesday night.

Malesela showed his emotions after the goalless draw, which was the seventh stalemate for the Polokwane side after 11 games.

Gallants dominated the game and had 15 shots on target but still failed to secure maximum points. The 57-year-old wasn’t pleased with the result, and mentioned he will have a serious talk with his players who didn’t listen to his instructions.

“I think it’s more of the approach that we showed today, we were not so urgent in terms of wanting to score,” Malesela told local journalists after the match.

“We were not as thorough as we should be. People are not getting into good positions to score. We get the ball, we want to go sideways. Most of the time and there is space in front of us, but we don’t use the space we talked about it at half-time, we go the second half we still do the same thing.

“I’m angry with these players, and we gonna fight tomorrow, not today.”

Malesela insisted that the a point was not good enough for his side, even though they moved ahead of Sekhukhune United on the log.

“We do good when we get three points,” he added.

“Probably I’m hard to please, but you know where we are in terms of positions, you would understand that we don’t have time to play, we must be very serious.

“It’s not about running around and then… I don’t want to be that person, who come to the end of the season, you are desperate to get points. We’ve got time now, why not use it? “

Bahlabane Baa Ntwaa are sitting 15th place on the league table, with just goal difference separating them from bottom side Sekhukhune United. Malesela’s side will face Cape Town City in their last game before the FIFA World Cup break on Saturday.
