Former Muvhango actress Phindile Gwala back on TV

Popular actress Phindile Gwala is back on screens after a break to focus on her family and businesses.

She is giving her fans a double dose of her dazzling acting talent.

This week, Phindile will be back on e.tv’s drama series Imbewu: The Seed, where she plays the sassy Fikile.

This time Fikile has more drama as she comes back with intrigue.

The talented actress will also debut on Mzansi Magic’s brand new maskandi drama series uZulu Nomhlaba where she plays MaNdlovu.

The drama series is shot in Ulundi, KZN.

Phindile said she has mixed emotions about her new role in uZulu Nomhlaba because the woman she is playing is very ruthless.

“This woman is very ruthless and harsh.

“She is different from who I am and what I have played before. I have to work 10 times more to bring this character to life,” she said.

She also revealed that it took her a while to tap into this new role.

“I am glad people are now going to witness this character every Sunday on Mzansi Magic at 8pm,” said Phindile.”

“This is so exciting for me as it is my first gig on a Mzansi Magic drama series,” she shared.

The actress is hoping her comeback to people’s screens will bring smiles and will brighten every household. – Daily Sun
