Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder George Lebese believes Orlando Pirates ace is too big for the club, and the PSL!
Saleng is in red-hot form for the Buccaneers this season. He has 12 goals and five assists in just 17 starts this season.
According to Lebese, it’s time for Saleng to start thinking beyond the Buccaneers and the PSL at large!

Saleng needs to look beyond Orlando Pirates – Lebese
“I think he has been making good progress in improving his game, getting goals and being in the right position,” Lebese told ThisIsFootball
“He has good energy and speed which is an advantage, obviously as a professional. I hope that he keeps demanding more from himself, and looks beyond Pirates and the PSL.”
In other news, former Orlando Pirates midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu has explained the reason behind his abrupt exit at the beginning of the season.
Ndlovu joined the Buccaneers with high expectations from Maritzburg United. He did show glimpses of his talent however ultimately failed to make the grade at the Soweto giants.
When SuperSport United came knocking, it was an easy decision for Ndlovu to leave the Buccaneers due to limited game-time.
The utility midfielder has already made 14 league appearances for Gavin Hunt’s side, double his overall tally (7) at Orlando Pirates during the full 2021/22 campaign!

“I had to choose between staying and not playing, or reviving my career. I decided to move and get a deal here at SuperSport.” Ndlovu said as quoted by Citizen.
“At Orlando Pirates I went 10 games without making a 20-man squad and that is frustrating. If you know that you are one of the better midfielders in the PSL, you rate yourself as a player because of the things you did.
“You have to really go with what works for you and you also need to know if the coach is going to use you. I have not been a regular at Pirates and it has been a struggle.”
