Eriksen set for Copenhagen return | Breaking News

Christian Eriksen is set to start against Serbia at the stadium where he collapsed in last year’s Euro 2020 game with Finland, according to BBC Sport via Danish TV station Kanal 5.
The 30-year-old was on the scoresheet when Denmark suffered a 4-2 defeat to the Netherlands this past Saturday.
Eriksen came on as a second-half substitute playing for his country for the first time, nine months after his cardiac arrest.
The midfielder says his goal on his return to the national team was “just a warm-up” for Tuesday’s friendly in Copenhagen on the ground at which the incident occurred.

“That will be even more special,” he told Danish TV station Kanal 5.
“Saturday’s goal was just a warm-up for Tuesday when I’ll be running in exactly the place where it happened.”
Denmark and Serbia have already qualified for the 2022 Fifa World Cup scheduled for Qatar later this year, and the Brentford man will be hoping to be part of the Danes’ squad that will be travelling to the World Cup tournament.
