After DJ Maphorisa made a comment about Wizkid being the first Nigerian artist on an Amapiano sound, Davido said DJ Maphorisa hates him.
Wiz released new Amapiano music this past Wednesday, and it has gotten a lot of attention because of the ongoing beef between Nigerian and South African musicians.
Maphorisa took to Twitter to set the record straight about the If hitmaker being the first to bring piano to Nigeria and make it popular.
“Kabza & Maphorisa was the first to put Wizkid n Burnaboy on an amapiano song Sponono that was a historical moment 3 years ago, research before tweet also it was the first time Wiz n Burna jumped on the same song together let it sink in,” Phori said.
Davido saw Maphorisa’s tweet and replied that the producer doesn’t like him even though he treats him well.
