Co-Coaches Sacked At Uthongathi – iDiski Times

Motsepe Foundation Championship side Uthongathi have fired their co-coaches Philani Shange and Themba Masango, iDiski Times have learnt.

The duo only recently replaced Simo Dladla, who was shown the door just a month ago. Dladla was in charge for four games, with results of two draws and two wins.

Shange and Masango started their journey with a draw against All Stars FC before claiming all three points against Magesi FC before losing to Casric FC and struggling Platinum City Rovers, which seem to have caused their release.

According to our source the Cane Cutters are in search of a new coach before their clash against the Black Leopards.

The KwaZulu-Natal-based side are sitting in fourth place with 16 points from 10 games, and six points behind log leaders Polokwane City but just two rebind the playoff spot currently held by AmaTuks.

After 10 rounds of the Motsepe Foundation Championship, Uthongathi are much closer to the play-off position than the relegation zone, where Venda FC are sitting with just seven points.
