Carling Black Label have given another update on the starting XIs for Saturday’s Carling Black Label Cup after several players had to withdraw due to injuries.

On Monday, the initial final starting line-ups for the tournament were confirmed but Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and AmaZulu had to make changes to their selections after several players were sidelined.

For the Buccaneers, Richard Ofori, Thabiso Monyane and Innocent Maela were ruled out, with Siyabonga Mpontshane, Sandile Mthethwa and Thapelo Xoki the new names in the Buccaneer’s line-up.

Meanwhile, AmaZulu will be without Ramahlwe Mpahlele, Siphesihle Maduna, George Maluleka and Bonginkosi Ntuli, with Veluyeke Zulu, Keagan Buchanan, Ethan Brooks and Msindisi Ndlovu the new names in the starting XI.

Sundowns will be without Marcelo Allende, Erwin Saavedra, Sifiso Ngobeni, Abdelmounim Boutouil, Mosa, Lebusa, Terrence Mashego and Thabiso Kutumela, but only Allende and Kutumela were in the intial starting XI and have been replaced by Cassius Mailula and Gift Motupa.

There were seemingly no new injury concerns for Kaizer Chiefs, who were already without Itumeleng Khune and Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana. However, there line-up has not changed since Monday.
