Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos says fans should not expect miracles ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Morocco at the FNB Stadium next weekend.
The two teams have already qualified for next year’s showpiece but the match will test their readiness.
The 2022 World Cup semi-finalists defeated Bafana 2-1 in the first round when they met last year at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.

Broos noted that Bafana were weaker than Morocco.
“When you play against teams like France and Morocco, you have to understand that you’re in the weaker team,” he said.
Broos awaits Morocco lesson
“Don’t for a moment dream that you have as good players as they have. The reality is that they’re a much better side than we are at the moment.
“Don’t ask for miracles and, even if there’s a loss, there should be a good part from that in terms of lessons,” Broos was quoted on News24.

He said Saturday’s game would be a good taste for the 1996 Afcon winners.
“The game will also be a good test to see where we are as a team, especially after how angry I was after the France game,” Broos said. “We’ve got a very difficult game against a very good opponent, so one must just look at the performance.”
Playing against Morocco should motivate the players
“I shouldn’t be pleased if I have to motivate players to play against Morocco. If that’s the case, then there’s a big problem. If players are not motivated to play against a team like Morocco, then I think it’s better that you go home,” Broos added.
“This is where you become a professional player. It’s in this kind of game, where you have to perform. This is a big game and if you play well and put in a good performance, it’s also good for you as a player.”
